Dude. I thought i was over loaded....geeeeeze....you guys are nuts.

What are you running for your rear spring? I've been eyeballing balling deaver pretty hard for a few years now

 

I'm at like 4830 or something unloaded last I checked iirc. Go with alcan for rear spring imo

 

I'm running some Custom Deavers based off of the U402. I don't have any more details on these since were take offs from @jberry813. I'd recommend custom deavers .. though I haven't had any experience with other brands, just had a good one with deavers (customer service was great when I had an issue on the first pack I bought from Deaver).

Even if I took off the drifter (550#), I'm still heavy with the BAMF front and mid skid, sliders, front Brute Force Fab hybrid bumper, ear relentless tube bumper, 35" MTs (including spare) and frame boxed under the bed.

 

Curb weight for a prerunner double cab 2005 is 4010. I'm now 4x4, LT, bed cage, roll bar, bedless on 35's and weigh 5160.

Those are the two I've been debating. Alcan or deaver, either way a custom pack is probably the choice since I cannot afford coiled 3 link

 

Do you have a reason for alcan over deaver?

 

I tried to order custom through deaver first and they were hard to communicate with. And I think at the time pricing was a little better through alcan.

Just installed an alcan pack onto a buddies truck spec'd for lesser weight and it rides great. I'm sure Deaver would be fine too, just don't have any first-hand experience with them outside of when I tried to order through them a while back.

 

Same, I got a custom pack thru Alcan. I tired Deaver first but they didn't have good customer service. Pretty hard to communicate with Deavers. When I needed to order just a replacement main leaf with Alcan, it was super easy.

 

I bought through Deaver. Pretty straight forward. However, I needed some help for parts not listed on their website recently and it was a pain--I finally called and the person who answered said they'd been extraordinarily busy and understaffed. He apologized and was kind enough to get my order on the way, same day. As much as it was kind of a pita, I appreciated the position they were in, who hasn't been there? And the honesty when I did get hold of them. Not to mention the effort given their circumstance.

I've been very happy with the Deavers. I'm running the U402-3.

Yea, it really looks like the rear diff to me. I can't work on it till Thursday if I'm lucky enough to do it then. But whatever, it'll be some fix it content on my lame little page once I find the money to do the things
