Something and nothing at the same time. Slip yoke service is kicking my butt! Not sure it’s ever been done on my new to me truck with almost 200K miles and the bolts are not budging. Will PB blast, work on getting more leverage, maybe have a Modelo, and come back to it later today

Update: No Modelo's needed, just some swivel sockets from Harbor Freight and my 2' breaker bar!

Put in the Cowl Intake Kit from Pele Prints and finally cut my bedsides and installed the high clearance Pelfreybilt bumper I scored off of CrashN'Burn a while ago. Had it re-cowdercoated. Now just have to get some new bearings and put the swingout back together.

Rear doors are done. Really happy with the sound quality and also a big bonus that I don’t have to speak up as loud on the highway. Altogether I did the back wall, under the back seats, and the four doors with 36sq ft of butyl deadener, 36sq ft of closed cell foam, and 40 square foot roll of mass loaded vinyl.

Spent most of the weekend doing yard work and getting the pool ready for swim season, but I did squeeze in some time to put some colored photopaper over my ultragauge just because....it ain't much but it's honest work.

    Little facelift for me
(Keep the OEM lights unless you have a light bar, these H1s are legitimately horrible lighting, thank goodness I live in a well lit area :bananadead:)

Paint match isn’t perfect but I’m happy with it, got a new cooling system too.

If I had to guess, the back wall took me 12 hours and the doors maybe 4 hours per door. But really it gets faster the more you do it and get used to working with each material. I did the back wall first so I was really learning working with trim panels and clips, cutting and rolling the butyl. By the fourth door it all felt natural and I could probably do it again in half the time.

Also for the doors, take pictures of the first side to reference on the second side and if you do MLV copy your first one for the second door, this will save a lot of time.

Installed a new Body Armor bumper today. Had to cut a couple of seized bolts to get the old bumper off but over all not too bad of an install. I was a little bummed out initially, because the box had a huge hole in it and some of the bumper's paint was scraped off in shipping. Not the end of the world though, and it seems to be a big improvement over the stock bumper (weighs about 4 times as much too).

My wife and I were over your neck of the woods yesterday soaking it up at Society and enjoying the spring rain. I didn't notice your truck but your bumper looks great.

How do you like your headlights? What brand are they or did you retrofit them yourself? Did you ever compare them to the ultimate headlight upgrade? Nice rig.

That would be correct if it’s part of an full system. Think of it like this… you have air ramming into a 3” pipe… if you dont open that pipe all the way from intake to exhaust there will be a “choke point” along the way; reducing that increased air flow and thus HP gains.

Damn, that sucks. I've been running a washable dry air filter almost since I bought my truck........360,000 miles ago...hope it don't give it up too early.

Finally got around to replacing the trash OEM engine splash guards and installed some hood struts both thanks to the DIY threads on here. Both super worthwhile and quite satisfying for cheap easy "mods" at less than $60 for everything from Amazon. Also got the winter setup back off for the summer wheels and swapped to a knock off pro grille and raptor lights last week, quite basic and overdone but it sure does look pretty good haha
