I really only eat lunch. Breakfast is usually just something to settle the meds and coffee. Dinner is really only if I missed lunch. I had that from my favorite place coming out of bayou country. Liver n Gizzards. Well seasoned. Properly buttermilk soaked. I really don’t have vices, so lunch meals are my vice…
BTW, went with my daughter to the gym yesterday… cycle, weights, stairs…

 

Damn!! From what the images show I don’t have a tumor or anything like that, just leaking fluid. My vision hasn’t really changed much. I have been going to a retina specialist for like 6 or 7 years now about it. I have a few floaters and that’s all. He thinks the risks are still higher than the reward on a surgery right now.

 

I wonder if they could use a laser to stop the fluid leakage ? That’s how they fixed my tears . Then they did what they call laser prophylactic around both retinas to strengthen them from any further damage . So the laser just creates scar tissue which is really strong and keeps my retinas from tearing any further or will limit any future tear to being very small . Sounds like they should be able to help you out with that I’m no doctor what is actually leaking in your eye .? Is it vitreous fluid or blood ?

He said something about a laser today. He has also talked about going in and freezing it? also said I’d be on really high dose of prednisone for a month or so. Didn’t go over it today. But in the past he has said there is some other risks. One is losing some sight.

I’m not sure what kinda fluid is leaking!! They have never done anything to test it.

 

They have a plant in Alcoa TN. I should say. They did at one point, not sure if they still do.

delco electric also has a plant in Knoxville.

 

All good ideas. Sadly the fun isn’t legal here…. Brother is former cop and like all his friends are current or former cops. I’d have half my teeth and blood on the ground if they smelled that on me….

A second opinion is always an option. My first eye issue was kind of an emergency. ER couldn’t do shit it was around 6 in the evening so I went to a retina specialist the next morning . Too much blood in my eye for him to see anything . Next place I went did not accept my insurance . I was literally losing my vision at this point . Got to another place that took my insurance and they could not do anything either because of the hemorrhage. Told me to come back in 5 days when I came back they rushed me in for emergency surgery. My retina was literally detaching from the back of my eye . If that happens there is no fix . Got in the operating room just in time . On the gurney I could see the darkness creeping in on my left eye . About 4 hour surgery and every DR that looks in my eye now can’t believe I can see anything . That was my dominant eye . Left . I can still drive and shoot just a little double vision that goes away if I close one eye .

oh and no pushing ,pulling or lifting more than 20 pounds

 

It's not legal here either..

Yup…. Bleeding behind the retina in 2 locations for me. Had to get monthly shots in my eye for…… I forget for how long It’s all good now and have it checked yearly. My apt is coming up in a couple weeks.

 

Yeah it’s legal anywhere in the south east. I don’t know any LEO’s that are like that around here.

 

What were the shots supposed to help do exactly? May ask about that.
