Yep... Just checked. I have 158 hours of vacation, and can only accrue 160. So, yep... next Thursday and Friday it is.

 

Im free that Friday, I'll be there bright and early! Let me know if you need me to bring any tools or dig any materials out of the scrap pile. I'm looking forward to seeing this thing in person.

 

All I need is extra sets of hands lol

 

Didn't get a lot done, but chipped away at it a little this evening. Pulled the bumper back off after I marked locations I need to cut the frame and body mounts to.



Also mounted the power steering cooler, and pulled the radiator. (Radiator would have been in the way when I'm making the frame cuts).



Also turned the body mount bolts so the excess thread is up, out of the way, when I re-mount the bumper.

 

Frame and body mounts trimmed. I'll patch and reinforce them tomorrow.

 

Doesn't look like much. But it was a LOT of f'n work.

 

I've never messed with weld through primer before. Don't really like it. Makes for dirty welds with lots of spatter... But, it is, what it is.

Driver side UCA Double Shear = done

 

Bypass hoops are marked, and ready to bend.

But that's a wrap for today.

 

I have to say. The UCA Double Shear/Coil Tower Reinforcement from @TOTAL CHAOS is MILES better than the Solo Motorsports version I put on my truck. It's considerably thicker/stronger.
