I do probably around 200ft lbs

 

I think that was the issue, last shop takes it to 130-140, probably stretched the bolts a bit, 100-110 wasn’t enough.

i liked what i see there . looka more secure. what about the aligment bolts?

 

The Marlin LCA frame brace kit does everything the TC cam tab gussets do and more. But you can also leave the TC gussets on and put the LCA on over the top, combining both of them without any changes.

 

yes i know but i like wat i see and i want the same. im doing the new camburg 2" Long travel . trail series with slappers so adding this for secure aligment when im offroading im ok. plus i allready have the TC things not weldet yet though

 

I got the TC Cam Tabs off their site same with the HDLCA. The cam bots are the Bison kit. Since my welding skills are lacking I had Sibi Built install them both.

Thanks for sharing this how much material did you have to remove from the LCA skids? I'd be tempted to just cut it out as a straight section on mine rather then nothing

 

Do these come raw steel or are they coated? ( will the side facing the LCA bracket potentially remain raw and begin rusting of water gets in around the seams?

 

I remember I had to do this. There was a clunking sound that made me look under. You could see where it was hitting & bending. So I cut it back just enough to clear the LCA mounts.

 

It's unfortunate I'll also have to cut the engine and trans skids to clear, but such is life.

 

From what I'm reading, ideally weld them on with the LCA in place to mitigate the risk of spacing getting messed up?
