Regarding pepper spray/gel, don't leave it in a hot car. If the canister bursts you're only punishing yourself.

Swapped out grilles, pro grille for whatever style it is now, in prep for arb bumper and winch. Pulled out the grease-able cam boots and put factory cam bolts back in. Grease-able wasn’t holding alignment. Also tinted the T on grille with 25% 3m. I kinda like this grille better! IMG_6711.jpg IMG_6732.jpg IMG_6733.jpg

No air dam, it handled the speed pretty well all things considered. The floating was really because of the road.

I had a set of Diode Dynamics white light in the Runner, which I ran for about a month, but didn't really care for them. I wanted a more powerful fog so I went with the Baja's which were damn expensive (just like these 4 Bangers) but their performance was top notch. Im going to throw in one of the Baja Squadrons to do a real side by side comparison. Once I decide which one I like better I'm probably going to sell the others.

A rare mod for the Tacoma. My remotes are getting spotty even with new batteries and I got a stellar deal on a used one.

I live on the west coast and I don't carry any of that, nor do I think that I need to. I would move if I felt that I needed to carry that just to drive around my town.

I took a 3 button remote out of a visor from a grand cheerokee, and installed it in the (2nd gen) tacoma visor, behind the vanity mirror, and painted the little trim piece to match color. It is powered off the vanity mirror too, so wires already in there. this reminds me I need to get one for the 3rd gen.

Getting ready for the parade route again this year for the high school dance team. Last year I used some racing seats in the back of the truck for the coaches to sit in. This takes up a ton of space to store and just is not practical. So, new version for this year uses the seats from the high school gym bleachers. Going to figure out either a backrest or some grab handles for the coaches to hang onto.

Also built two speaker stands that will put the dance speakers up in the air and point them out at the crowds.
Still need to put up some mounts for the banners. Thinking maybe just getting a roof rack to hang them from.

    Here is last years seating.

    It was productive weekend:
have chrome radiator grille frame painted black and installedIMG_2230.jpg

Deside to go with matte black.
Also have wife's car waxed and ceramic sprayed - oh, shining bright!IMG_2226.jpg IMG_2228.jpg

And, of course, my truck is shining, too!
