bro not silly at all, my tacoma came with an OEM one and since i added a tool box to my truck bed it takes up space, so having this is actually clutch cuz i basically recoup the space i lost with tool box. comes in handy.

Looks like it may not work, if bed stiffeners were installed. I can't see clearly, maybe I'm wrong on that.

Well, they got back to me and those are enormous - 35mm between the top holes and then 45mm from top to bottom. I'm still striking out trying to find a triple hanger that fits and I don't really feel like searching anymore, so looks like I'll be popping one off as well and going standard hanger for the rearmost one.

Yeah they would have to be shorter on the sides or at edge of tailgate. I don't think the OEM would work, either. But these were cheap.

There is a hardware gidgit you add to the inside of the bed by the tailgate. The entire rack can be removed but this thing stays. The rack can flip into the bed and make a nice partition, esp with a tonneau cover.

Yes. I removed the clutch reservoir bracket, then fabbed some 90° angle brackets and screwed that into the clutch bracket and attached to the bottom of the fuse block bracket. The clutch bracket hangs just off the edge of the fuse block bracket. The reservoir hose wraps around in a nice loop without crimping, but ymmv. Brand name is visible in one of the images, got through Amazon, and it works well enough for me.

It was a pain. It was enough of a pain that I ran some extra control wires and even an extra power wire to the back seats that isn't even hot atm. Figured if I was going to pull cable through firewall, I should pull multiple. Future expansion possibility. Edit: this was in addition to the 8awg I ran for a subwoofer behind the rear seats. I hate pulling trim and trying not to break the tabs, too.

Not shown is an add-a-fuse to the cigarette lighter fuse in the cab. I used one of the pairs of cables (as a single conductor) in the cat6 cable, which you can see going to the accessory lug on the fuse block. This has a small fuse on it (3A) because it should only power the relays. Should be 1A.

Single color. AFAIK Baja Designs doesn’t make switchable color rock lights, which these pods are designed for. I do see KC has RGB rock lights but they are .175” too tall.

Gotcha, I ordered the dual color rock lights that up top makes to fit their scene pods and I’m vey novice at wiring so I was hoping they were similar in style

If you were going to get @no vtec 4me to do your custom set the last I heard is he sold his equipment and stopped.

If they’re in good condition I feel like I would’ve paid $800 for a used set. You can get them new for $1200 on a 20% Toyota sale. Anything over 800-900 for a used set wouldn’t have been worth it for me, personally.
