I was going to get those Lasfit T3 bulbs and after reading reviews decided against it. So many complaints of bulbs crapping out in a very short time.

I think all of the complaints were from running the switchback. I’m running their Amber LED replacement.

Have yall seen the replacement packs where you add a white DRL like the trailhunter and pro have to your regular headlights?

I have an SR5 so the turn signal light isn't on in Auto mode. I'd be OK with just having the brighter, amber LED bulb.

Is this the one you got?

I had their switchbacks in my Jeep, but could only get them to be a DRL by programming my Jeep to do so. Not sure Carista even has that capability on the Taco. Since the headlights are the DRL, I am not that concerned about them running white during the day.

    Thanks!

The Amber bulb I am running is at the following:

You must turn off DRL in the vehicle settings. You must also run with the light stick on the left side of the steering wheel set to Parking lights.

Thanks. But if I don't care that they are acting as a running light, I can just leave DRLs on (which is headlights) and just have the brighter, faster LED turn signal right? I don't care if it's running all the time during the day like a DRL.

Do you ever get hyperflash with these? I did in my Jeep if I was stuck at a turn for 2-3 minutes when it was hot out. I finally was able to reprogram the Jeep to tell it I had LEDs up front and then it stopped doing that. Since the Taco will still think these are incandescent, was hoping that they are mostly immune from hyperflash when they get hot.

I have not seen a hyperflash. Been running them since November and it’s been plenty hot in Texas.

I’ve had the ambers for over a year with no issues. I use them only for the turn signals as well.

Those look nice, but that's way too rich for my blood. I'll spend $45 to try the Lasfits and if they don't work I'll go back to incandescent :)
