Fueling is perfectly fine with the 90 and 87. Pushing it with the 84mm. You're out of fuel up top with the 80mm (fuel pump). There is a lot of misinformation regarding the 3GT, fuel and maggie kit that stems from a couple years ago. Mainly from a certain tuner brand trying to push a fueling kit for monetary gains when it wasn't needed ;). Hint it wasn't OTT.

FWIW, and full disclosure that I’m not invested in any particular kit or tuner (though I am happily tuned), but I believe that ‘other’ tuner was recommending fuel upgrades for a turbo setup that promised a bit more improvement than the Maggie does. So yes they did recommend an upgrade, but it wasn’t really related to the Maggie SC. That may have translated to some misinterpretation for the need for increased fueling.

This is incorrect. There was a discussion about turbo kits early on and they suggested that fueling solution to the maggie kit. It was 100% related to the maggie kit as we specifically asked for the AFR if fuel was an issue and never received anything. Regardless, fuel is not an issue with the 90mm or 87mm.

    87mm AFR below.

I’ll agree to stand corrected and must have missed the sales pitch for fuel upgrades to the Maggie kit. I followed the turbo development very closely but was never comfortable enough with it to be one of the dirty dozen.

All depends on how much $$$ you want to put into it. As the cheapest route would be a used engine. Also how much down time you are fine with as an LS swap is going to take longer than just putting in another 3.5. If I were to do a complete motor swap, I'd look into a diesel swap, but that's just my preference.

Following up on this question. I cannot speak for the company that suggested you get these, but for the guy who developed this ....he is a stand up guy that I personally know and he's a hell of a soldier and mechanic! I don't know if he is providing these anymore, but I personally think it's a great idea that should have been oem. Just my .02 cents.

Another buddy suggested a 4.7l 1st gen tundra v8, or a big bore kit. The cylinder walls are super gouged, he was thinking just bore it out and do bigger cylinders

I love the idea, but what about all the ECM controlled stuff? is there any success with getting the dash and accessories to work, with the swap?

Also, what about passing emissions annual?

I would seriously consider this with complete driveline, and AWD option, but would need to follow someone who already figured out the emissions and accessory work-around.

Hit me with any links i may be missing!!

I’m pretty sure there’s a thread here with someone who’s done a swap. It’s documented fairly well. If I can find it, I’ll link it.

Read his linked caddy engine too, it’s the one that’s well documented.
