Hello! Long story short the tie rods of my 2014 Taco have managed to completely seize and are thus unable to be aligned. After doing some extensive reading on here I decided that getting OEM parts was the best route for me to take, but I have been a little confused with tracking down the required parts.

After looking on Ourisman I found the outers (Part # 45046-09340).

From what I understand according to this thread Toyota does sell inner tie rods, but when looking on Ourisman it says that the part # 45503-09550 mentioned in the post only fits from 2016 - 2023, and the other option (Part # 45503-09490) fits from 2005-2013. Is it just not mentioned that ...09550 fits the 2014 aswell?

    Thanks in advance!

Also, I read somewhere that dealerships won't sell inner tie rods. They want to sell you the whole steering rack. I hope this is not true. I bought some spares off Amazon for an upcoming wheeling trip. Not OEM parts though.

Aftermarket inners are listed to fit 2005-2023: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=3638478&cc=1445515&pt=7428 And 4550309490, 4550309520, 4550309550 are all interchangeable.
Probably because the cost of OEM inner tie rods is close to a whole rack assy. MSRP is $200 each, so $400 for two: https://parts.longotoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-steering-tie-rod-end-4550309550 That seems more like an F-U price to persuade you to buy the whole rack.
