Looking to wire into the turn signals for my power locks I installed. Does anyone have a walkthrough or know where I need to tap into?

to explain, this is for the visual turn signal flash you get when locked/unlocked.

"power locks" as in the actuator that locks the doors?

I'm confused. Why would you tap into the turn signals for a power lock circuit?

I wouldn't. Without a programmable PCB or at least a set of relays, you're crossing two circuits that shouldn't be.

Edit: if, however you are installing an aftermarket remote module, most installers tap into the hazard button. I don't codone it, but that's what most people do

    4 run, 2 don't
My assumption is to provide a visual display of locking/unlocking said vehicle.

Maybe you're outside and have a view (glass) of your vehicle and wish to confirm you locked it?

When I lock and unlock my truck the lights flash (once for lock and twice for unlock) and it beeps...

** I went an reread the OP. I guess this is for an aftermarket lock system not factory...

This is what the service manual says:

Visual Confirmation of Lock or Unlock

During lock operation, when the body ECU receives a lock signal from the door lock detection SW, the turn signal light is flashed once. During unlock operation, when the body ECU receives an unlock signal from the door lock detection SW, the turn signal light is flashed twice.

Using the turn signal would be bother.
Having the locks cycle on and off with the blinker. Haha
