<33 haha thanks!... Once I get rid of the chrome and tint the windows it will look even better... Unfortunately my cut off is non existent, it's almost completely diagonal. I don't know how I could have fucked up the projector positioning so bad with the alignment tab thing. So this weekend I'll probably pull em off and redo them

Also I've been trying to look into why they seem to be running super hot. Everything I've read says regular halogens run hotter then even the 55 watt HID's. Yet mine feel like they are on fire if they're on for <5 minutes. Almost to the point I feel like they'll melt my headlight covers....

so needless to say it's bitter sweet finishing up cause I'm not really finished.... but I think they look killer turned off for now haha

Lol. Have you tried adjusting the bulbs? Sometimes all you need is to make sure the bulb is in properly because if it slips or you turn it a bit when putting the washer in, it will give you f'd up cut off's.

I did. I tried rotating the bulbs pretty much 360 degrees. It adjusted where the hotspots were and was definitely helping a little but my cut off is almost completely upside down. Hard to believe I put the projectors in upside down but I guess I'll find out this weekend.

Wooohooo just picked up the morimoto mini upgrade kit. This is for people who already have a H4 Bixenon HID kit and dont need ballasts or relay harness. comes with the adapter to connect the D2S to your existing Ballast. Saw this same setup on my friends FJ last night and it looks siiiick.

The upgrade kit with gatlin shrouds came to $151 with the GB Discount. I couldnt be happier.

are vthe bulbs installed correctly? they shouldn't really turn when installed right. the bulb should go in first and lock into a tab then that metal ring then the rubber washer with beveled side of washer to go over the metal ring

I Spent a little more on my kit than the typical DDM kits. Mine are AC ballasts and a bit better built. the kit i bought comes with the bulbs too. just no ballast or relay harness.

Hey guys i am in the process of doing the FX-r retro fit and I am on the epoxy step. Do I epoxy the entire way around the projector or just the sides and leave the top and bottom open for ventilation?

A few mods here and there and counting....
Here's a picture taken on my droid x. Will take clearer pictures once i readjust the rotation of the projector and properly aim them. Overall, I am very happy with this kit. Great lighting, sharp cut off. Thanks op!

Questions for you guys who got the apollo shrouds with the FX-R projectors.
Did you guys just trim off the two parts that touch the projectors to fit it(get it onto the projector)? The two parts on the inside? Was there anything else you needed to trim?
