Hey, I find that heating the housing at 300 degrees is not hot enough, but at 350 degrees, the housing comes apart much easier. Anyone find that to be true?

I had no problem at 305. Just gotta really pry and use a flat head for some leverage. I wouldn't want to put the heat that high just because you don't wanna melt the glue too much where it can become a problem and a mess.

320 (with oven off) for 10 min seemed to work best for me. 305 the glue was still to hard and cooled to quickly.

Take the biggest existing hole on the reflector bowl and drill it out until the plastic piece fits.

no that was easy, i just disassembled the thing and got it through without drilling...
my questions is I got both projectors, one with a white plastic end and the other with a black one...

the black one fits into the wiring harness but the white one has no where to go...

A few mods here and there and counting....
That white connector is backwards. Use a small precision screwdriver and push the metal pins out of the harness and reinsert through the other rounded ends. I disconnected/reconnected mine when i fed the wires through the bowl instead of cutting/soldering the wires back together.
