I've ran BFG At's And Mt's on my old truck.. Now I have the Duratracs and the are awesome. For an AT I wouldn't choose anything else!! And I live in PacNW stick like glue in the rain.. Great in the Mud and get me out of my driveway in the snow..

I'm voting duratracs. Good quiet ride considering tread pattern is what one of the guys at work with a jeep reported. I'm ordering mine soon. I'd have em today, but the shop's warehouse for delivery is closed on Saturdays.

my duratracs feel strange on the street period they have since i bought them i feel them wander and go off center on a regular basis. they are the best goddam tire in the snow i have ever used they where unstoppable on any terrain when snow is covering it. i did not air down i run them at 33psi and i drove all over in just over 2 feet of wet icy snow up hills so steep my rear bumper was scraping. the dura tracs handle snow awesome. they feel worse on the street to me than my 1989 ford ranger regular can 4x4 with over 170 miles on it and i ran tsl thornbirds on that one! i have a problem when i'm comparing a modern steel belted tire like the duratrac against antiquated bias ply tire designs like the thornbird. i think the dura tracs look cool they are relatively quite and show no signs of wear yet, but they are awful on the street. i might add they are excellent in the rain as well probably due to all the siping they have.

duratrac sidewalls apparently don't like 19psi and rocky terrain?

Ouch. I probably wouldn't go that low on a c load rate tire. Ran mine at 25 on mildly rocky trails and performed great, although I'm sure nothing compared to CO.

I have about 30k miles on Dunlop Rover MT's (very very similar to Duratracs) and use my tacoma for work in Northern Canada. Routinely drive on ice roads and through deep snow for about 8 months and soft silty clay mud resource roads (oil and gas) for the rest of the year. These tires have performed great - worth considering. Siping sure helps with the winter weather but doesn't seem to impact the wear.

Just a bunch of old crap
x2 I run KM2's (285/70/17) through deep sand washes all the time in the desert and I can come to a complete stop and still get out without digging holes every time. I don't even deflate. Haven't tried them on ice or snow yet, but you can forgetaboutit when it comes to rocks, sand, gravel, deep mud, etc. Not a big fan of them on wet pavement in 2wd with a fast take-off though!
