I did some review hunting on the sliders and the company - for the most part 95% of what I found was favorable or better. A couple of places reviewed their Tundra leveling kit as "good as or better" than the Toyota leveling kit due to the materials and correct working angles machined into them. I figured for $135 it is kinda hard to go wrong.

I'm thinking we need pics to better assess both situations here. Since it was last night - I'm thinking you probably don't have pics of her unless you went home with her. ;)

As for the tires- no clue; but I know that when your dealing with bigger tires and mpgs your screwed from the start.

After pushing your truck like that today - what are the next mods??? I know you are already thinking in the back of your mind about a couple things to do... let's hear them.

So when does anyone/everyone want to go back out to the trails again??? Bridgeport or Tolar when it opens. I'm game either way.

No worries man - the last meet we had we had guys from Tyler and Austin (sorta) make it up. I had a good time and can't wait to get my 4Runner out in that dirt. I just ordered the sliders for it; they should be here Thursday or Friday.

    Build so far...
    Sliders - Check
    Lockers -
    Front bumper -
    Roll Cage -
    Winch -
    Bed Liner the interior -
    Lift (to be determined) -
Engine rebuild w/ motor mods -
    On board air -

Sheesh... this little $500 truck sure is expensive. :D

My dad is probably cool with me going, he would want to tag along too.

If you ever want to sell that 4Runner, or know of somebody else with one let me know:D

Very true- only parts of dead people were in your truck. Who knows where the rest went, lol. I would be careful cleaning out under the seats...

Wow... it seems like that bug is going around. What are you looking for as a base? A specific make/model or a specific price point?

The list was in no particular order - mainly what I find for a good deal when I have the money for it.

Which would you lock first - front or rear? I'm thinking front because that is where most of my weight/traction is.

Want to come do mine next? I keep putting it off and now I think I might need a tractor and shredder to get the grass knocked down.

Just found a baby rabbit nearr the air conditioning unit... My mom decided to put it in a shoe box instead of leaving it alone. Just another liability..

Can you elaborate on that? The rear has less weight - so wouldn't I get more benefit from having it up front where the weight is?

Yeah... currently putting all my money somwhere else. Besides, I'm cheap and I have a horrible yard. It resembles a pasture more closely than a yard.

Ok - that explains it better. It is going to need to be able to go on the street when needed if one of our other vehicles goes down or we get more ice storms. As for the weight distribution, I figured it was close to that but haven't found anything solid yet. Still have alot of research/learning to do.
