Great forum, TONS of very useful info. I own an 07 Pre TRD Sport 2WD. bought it new, seemed to be a fine truck...until the warrantee expired. Now a bunch of little things are going wrong and I'm not real happy. I have approx 95K miles with about 80% being hwy miles. Some dirt roads during hunting season, but nothing too bad. 1) Alum. wheels corroding under the paint, 2) Axle seal leaking...bad, 3) U-joint went bad @ 60K, 4) Leaf springs squeaking...bad, 5) Temp/compass out of service, 6)Airbag indicataor shows problem (haven't diagnosed yet), I know I'm forgetting others.
Has anyone else had MANY quality issues? I have an 01 Chev Tahoe, and other than routine maint, I have had NO problems with it. Not partial to one or the other, but bought the Toyota because of supposed quality!

Well, hopefully when I get these issues ironed ironed out it will stop being so annoying. I know no vehicle is maintenance free, BUT... I drive a lot and don't have much free time to mess with maintenance and REFUSE to take it to my dealer (they are thieves and talk to you like you are an idiot!). I've had THAT conversation with the manager on more than one occasion.

    Haha...not doing it...can't make me!

Your defiantly right on all accounts, your also at that 100k mark. I'm sure if you go through your truck and inspect everything closely, getting if fixed, you will have no problems for the future.
