yea I'm at the point where the smart thing to do would be to buy an older truck to wheel, but instead im gonna make my $30k truck into a $60k truck and wheel it till I need to buy a daily driver

Anything at dicks is a piece of shit. If you ever decide u actually want to paddle it and not just float down a creek you will want something better. Check out Ems.com I can help you out with that a little, I work there part time

yea checked some out on my lunch break....i know you get what you pay for but i dont think i can justify spending 500+ on 1 kayak (plus i need 2 of them) I know id be sacrificing quality and all but for the amount id use it i think id be ok with a cheaper one....or just buy a 6 inch lift for the taco lol

You should look at craigslist, Id say that's probably your best bet to find a kayak cheap, might find a whole package too

If you are gonna get a cheaper kayak, I suggest you get maybe an extra seat pad for the longer trips... they can really start to hurt your back.

Funny that you post this now. In my trip to Colorado I got to meet people with big rigs and that where towing campers three times bigger then mine. They all where getting much better mileage then me. Specially the one with diesel. Those Cummins are hard to beat at altitude.
here are few pics of the trip.

Looks like you had an awesome trip Virgil!

I'll be picking up my bumper today, on the way to the dealer for round 3 with the 4wd problem :(
I just want to install the bumper, but I'll have to wait probably atleast a week..
