So I went ahead and attempted to paint my satoshi myself and get it all finished. I ran into a bunch of problems during the entire process. First wind blew my project over and I had o re sand re primer and then paint. Now after the painting and clear coating a piece of paper stuck to the clear coat and messed that up. I just went and tried to wet sand with 1500 and 2000 but parts of the paint were thinner than I thought and got down to the primer. Needless to say this entire process has sucked.

At this point I am looking for some suggestions, how much would it cost to get repainted at a professional place? It is only the plastic surround that needs painting. Would plastidip hold up on that area? Could I clear coat plastidip to get some shine to it? Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

    ELITE offroad- http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/elite-off-road/150822-05-elite-off-road-front-plate-bumper-1st-group-buy.html

I got the prototype.. the one he made to take pictures with, but he hasn't actually made anymore yet..

And thanks! I like it but I'm not completely happy with the gap at the top of it. Still trying to figure out what to do about that. I had to use washers to space it out from the bar that connects between the headlights, but now it sticks out so far that theres a gap at the top and its messing with my bolting location for the bottom bolt.
