I always have it easy, once it was really slippery from sea grass but after i locked my rear I came right out. Should be fine, I was towing a 280 sea ray bowrider

It's ether going to be a bayliner 175 or 1996 master craft

I tow a 22' Party Barge (double pontoon with 150 Mercury). Definately feel it back there, but it has surge breaks on it. I keep it in 2wd on ramps, but I have a detroit rear locker and 4.88's, so that helps tremendously!

I had the LSD too on mine stock, but upgraded the diff's when I regeared with an automatic locker. The Off Road package is notorious for blowing with the stock electronic locker. If your truck is 4wd I'd engage it before pulling out just to be on the safe side, never hurts.

And the stock tow rating is #6500. So take into consideration weight of boat, full fuel tanks on boat, gear, and other accessories which would add weight.

I have an old 1991 Skeeter with a 200 Johnson and I'm told it weighs about 4500 loaded with fishing gear and 40 gallons of gas. I do have the towing package and does fine pulling it out with 2wd but I use 4wd because where I lauch it I cross a road and I dont want to take a chance.
