I really like mine, it's helped a ton with my mpg (as far as having a real time gauge). Looks good :)

Yeah I think it's already helping me. There's just not a good place to mount it really.

Yeah I ended up moding the stock mount and running the cable through the dash.

yeah... i saved $10 and about a half hour of time though..... which makes me think how much much I could save by getting a trailer. Or maybe I just need a bigger truck

I had a problem like this when 4x4 ing last weekend. Does it sound like a bad scraping noise?

I found sometimes the drum doesnt line up perfect on the backing plate or can shift. WHen the drum rotates with the wheel it can scrape backing plate. Well in my case anyway. I also cleaned allt he mud out of there..

To fix, remove tire, jack up truck. Take of drum and spin wheel hub to see if noise goes away. If it does reposition your drum, or just wiggle it around

First i tried to put my 33 inch spare under the back. I had to get a new lock to use spare tire hoist. Only to find out that my custom exhaust that i so cleverly bent to tuck it in closer to the bed to keep it off the rocks was in the way:eek:

Then i Put the $20 topper on the truck for week trip to maine for some wheeling camping and a clambake;) Forgot how ugly this thing i need to get around to painting it.
