Almost like a mix of prerunner with a dash of expedition. Great build Jason.

You sir, hit the nail on the head. I live in California. I can be in 4 completely different ecosystems in a matter of hours. Everything from dense forests to the desert and everything in between. And I like all of them and I didn't want to limit my truck to just one.

I've got a prerunner style and a nice long travel out back with enough foresight for the expedition rack to be built in and removable. Since it's 4x4, add in trail armour in all the right places and it performs great pretty much anywhere. The long travel flexes like nobody's business. ;)

For weekends like this weekend when I'm in the dunes, I drop the bellypan skid off and shave like 75 lbs. Stay tuned for some more pics.

Yeah. Exactlly the route I want to take (don't really have dunes over here in NC or from my homestate of WI). Good to see someone actually take the step to do it instead of limit themselves...I just don't think I can give up the bed space for the long travel rear, the bed was the purpose I bought a truck in the first place.

You've got a second gen. The springs are on the outside of the frame. It's a hell of a lot easier to do a low profile bed cage with a second gen and keep your bed space. Check out Blackhawke88's build. He's got a custom cage built by Engage and lost almost zero bed space.

Giant Motorsports offers a bolt in cage as well:

Yeah for the price you could get one custom built (but welded). Giant makes nice shit though...but then again I'm a bit partial. I'm digging their updated 64" kit for the second gens that's damn near 100% bolt on. I just showed the whole setup to my buddy with the single cab a couple days ago. Ever since he's been flipping seat cushions for loose change and picking up every penny he comes across. :D

Jason how much lift do you have on the front? The stance on your truck is perfect. Maybe its the fiberglass up front that makes it look good.

Intresting, i got 3" from my Coilovers. And it looks low compared to yours. Did you know much much you got on the rear?

Not much at all. I have the Giant SUA kit so its maybe 1-1.5 inches over stock (if that) unloaded. It's got a slight bro lean to it, but very mild. Throw in a 500 lb quad and ass is dragging a bit though.
