Nice looking truck! Just looked through all 11 pages! Agreed with the n-fabs, if necessary making some sliders to slap on there would look good. But I don't guess they would be that necessary on an LT?

when I turn right or left and slow speeds (also not every time), I hear sort of a popping noise and can sort of feel it in the pedal and steering wheel. Any ideas? I tried to record the sound on my phone but its kinda hard to hear..the popping noise occurs at 0:13/14

I am pretty sure its coming from the driver side. I got down there and cant see anything wrong

sounds like these guys had similar issues but nobody posted what it was exactly

it has a littler over 50k..I think i just hit 50 a couple weeks ago. The long travel setup is new though

I had an awesome video setup this morning. I put my phone in a sandwhich baggie and zip tied it under my truck..naturally it didn't make the noise. The footage was pretty cool to see :D

I'm gonna jack it up and have a friend turn the wheel and see if I can see anything.

I haven't had that happen. I think i'm going to take it to a this guy I know and see if he has any idea what it is. I understand that race truck parts make race truck noises, but this just started and I've had my front on for a little while now. I'm sure whatever it is, I can fix it..just a matter of cost at that point and if it's necessary

    http://vimeo.com/9390458

this is from a year or so ago, it ended up being his outer tie rod ball joint... another route to explore along with the wheel bearings

That sounds pretty accurate. I looked up bad wheel bearings and found this and it doesn't sound anything like this

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gL1dl_M0Nxs

I guess I'll take a look at the tie rods then. I remember when we were installing them one of my friends popped the little rubber seal on the end and a little bit of grease came out

the TC kit still uses the stock tie rods, but with an extension to connect them to the spindle...unless ron bought the heim steering upgrade

yeah, check out the tie rod ends... inner and outer

hopefully it's one of those that's bad, that way you have a good excuse to upgrade to heim steering :D
