    what's it doing? sometimes mine hums when i hit it hard in wet weather. i'd rather have no ABS and just pump the brakes in a bad situation.

    I have done the mod but only use it when I'm wheeling. Reason being is my toggle switch is set up to be lit when the ABS is off and the damned thing is bright and annoys the hell outta me. lol.

    i might get a toggle that lights up as well. so i assume it would be okay running it like that at all times. if someone cuts me off or hit a slippery patch i won't have time to flip a switch. also, this doesn't cause a check engine or ABS light to come on, huh? i didn't see mention of that in the thread

    I figured the lighted switch would cause me less confusion and it keeps it on my mind. I don't see that it running it all the time would cause any ill affects and I didn't have any warning lights on. I can't stand the ABS say when you need to slam on your breaks because the jerking breaks my concentration for a split second, but that rarely happens because the breaks on these trucks in my opinion are very good.

    Very seldom. I have yet to make one usually just a meet and greet, some drinks and supper or something. Finding places to wheel here is difficult.

    word. looked it up in another thread. guy said it should be fine running it all the time. i'm gonna do this cuz i've almost rear ended a car or 2 in wet weather due to crappy ABS.

    i'm waiting for a meet to make it's way to NOLA. i hate driving, lol. plus it has to be when i don't have my kids and i have them just about every weekend.
