They should be smoother, but that depends on the valving, I went from Bilstein's to Walker Evans and the ride improved x10times

are these for the rear of your truck?

King makes a better product but they will be more expensive and their rebuild kits and shims are way overpriced. Fox is about the same initial cost, same quality and cheeper to rebuild.

those springs are designed to be run spring over axel and will be to short as a SUA set up, You want the "baja" leafs if you intend to run a SUA set up. they are 62" eye to eye and are a direct replacement for the Deaver F55 and F67 packs.

not unless you have an 05+ and get the Defined Engineering kit, on the older tacomas its pretty easy to convert the rear end to SUA with a TC 12" shackle and mounting the upper pivot on top of the frame. There are a bunch of people running a similar set-up, im sure a few on here so someone will pipe in.

So just looked through your build thread, so with Deavers, you're running a 12" shock in the stock location?! Have you cycled the suspension to measure the amount of uptravel and downtravel?!

what do you mean there to short, is there any reason i couldn't run them SUA or is it just that there would be no real benefits if i did?
