295-70-17 is perfection for a 3inch do the cab chop pull the wheel well forward and you have a functional set of big ass looking tires.

As always - you gotta tell folks how you're using your truck if you want meaningful input.

Otherwise, they'll just tell you what they've got. Me: 285/70R17.

I voted 285/65-18s cause thats what I am running. They equal out to about 32.6"s so not quite 33"s.

i was looking at 315's but i saw them in person on a tacoma and i knew it would demand alot of modification on a brand new truck to make that set-up useable the 285 are a great size but, the 295's can do everything a 285 does and they look perfect on a 3 inch i just wish more company's made that size of tire.

not that i don't like my nitto's just saying black tacoma your truck is the shit homey lol your build thread made me get off my ass and do mine all up :D

you may have to chop the cab mount with 285's. if you plan on stuffing these things in there it may need to happen any how the shop that did my lift did mine in like 5 minutes with a plasma cutter when i go back i'm going to have them box it in.

my lift came out to 4.5 inches originally so i rubbed them with 295-70-17's on a 17x9 4.75 inch back spaced wheel if you have a 4.5 inch back spacing i would say it may be in the cards for you as well. don't let that scare you off its reall not that bad at all and can be done by almost anyone with the tools and half a brain cell.

    Mine with 285/75/16's
    15mbhqt_9fe475956de6292367f7e35543aede757a93b669.jpg

    My current setup with 265's
    2w74mly_68cd427bb002ee6852135dab2bb66da82626c6ba.jpg

The 285's were cool, but i didnt like the rub or the idea of cutting into my frame to make them fit, so I went with 265's. I'm happy with them.

Oh, and I would go with a 16" rim. Looks better IMO...

I like the 255 85 16 bfg km2 looks good to me. Stun man hans is that picture before alignment? Cause your tire looks like the bottom is in more than it should be. Maybe its just the picture.

I voted 285/70/17. I have 285/75/16 (same diameter and width) because I like the smaller rims personally, but the tire size is perfect.
