Okay I think I get it now. Corey was saying that the arm looks like a bad quality arm due to the way it looks (welds? not clean construction?) and he has a feeling it may fail in the long run.

Geeze. It took four pages of deciphering for me to understand this when it could have been said from the get go.

But maybe that's just the way he communicates.

Just remember that on the other side of that screen and behind another keyboard there is another person who loves their truck.

And these red tacos look awesome. Red is a versatile color that can look good with chrome or black accents. My girls is black :(

I just got my LR UCA's installed this evening. Man, was getting new UCA bolts a great idea. Didn't feel bad at all about cutting out the old ones.

Ha. After reusing my bolts last weekend, I don't blame you. Its a ton of work to get that bolt out in tact.

Nice Truck, the Chrome looks good on the Red.
I'm Lookin' at the current LR UCA Group Buy. Good reviews
    Lift Later.
    Keep Moddin'

    Delivery, Delivery, Delivery
I will agree, the OP's UCA Pic is not flattering.
And I know little to nothing about them.
And without a doubt, You are more mechanically experienced than I.
But with what little I know, that's not saying much.
Grabbed a Pic from a Vendor site, that look's a little better (Below).

Thought I'd post to link to tigerfan00's my "halftime" speech
Doesn't specifically address this, but it's related
Not singling You out, as everyone should read it.
Enjoy your stay at TW and please contribute positively.
    BTW: I see U R Mbr #59051, tigerfan00 is Mbr #5966

"Tacoma's run out of factory adjustment when you install lift kits.
With our patent pending design this upper control arm provides an additional ±2 degree of camber and 0 degree to +4 degree of caster change.
Built with an OE style ball joint and bushings, this arm is designed to correct alignment angles while maintaining factory ride quality.
The hybrid tubular and forged steel design is tough enough to race - on or off-road.

Ya the new bolts were only $11 a piece so I figured it was worth the headache and beat up wheel wells just to replace them.
