I wish I didn't have to be at a client's tomorrow id call in sick and sleep all day so I could wake up and it be Wednesday.

Hey I found my twin in the parking lot of Chipoltle. Anybody on here?

My wife took some pretty good pics of our expedition up the Kingston Peak trail last Monday. I didn't get to do the entire trail as we ran out of time but I made it to the top! We saw 2 black bears and other random wildlife but the view at the top was incredible. My two buddies that came to visit me from Kentucky were awed. Found some fun puddles to play in and got the truck super dirty. I must say, I'm really diggin this state!

We did the Nevadaville loop first and saw some cool abandoned mining equipment


I couldn't hog all of the fun so I let my buddy drive for a bit


I really wanna get a plate bumper and some bigger tires... mods = money though and I'm a cheap bastard just waiting for a deal!


A neat little schoolhouse on the way to Kingston Peak trail. I just thought the scenery around it made it unique since it was all by itself with no other buildings around.


Found some puddles!!! YAY!


Started slow testing depth first...


And then... SPLASH!!!


An awesome mud-splosion ensued that completely obscurred the Tacoma


I just thought this was a cool shot that my wife took as I exited the puddle with mud and water flying off the truck. Too bad she couldn't catch the expression of awe on my buddies face


The whole thing left me with a huge grin on my face


At the top... incredible beauty all around us.



I'm really enjoying my first few months here in Colorado and look forward to getting to join ya'll on some of the cool shit I see you do here on the forums!

Whats up bitches?! Sorry I have neglected TW single life is consuming my time right now Finally have a place to live but its not what I wanted Im helping a buddy for the next 9months with his place then buying a place down town.

 

Nice pics Chance. I went up Kingston about a month ago. 103* in town dropped to 45* up there at the puddles which were flooded. Here's a link to the pics I posted

what did you do now?!

 

Nothing yet I have the cab mount chop and maybe some on the fenders along with i will need my rear diff flushed and looking at maybe buying another car so it might need a tune up
