Blows my mind the All pro leafs for 1st gens requires moving the hangers. It's like someone screwed up the measurement and they just said fuck it we'll tell them to move the hanger.

Bushings aren't installed. Easy to do though. I'll try to remember to measure them later

It should come in 3 packages. Each leaf pack by it's self with a shipping sticker on it, then a box with the bushings and bushing inserts.

I'm sure I know the answers I'll get but I figured I would ask your guys opinion.

I'm gonna order a set of Elite bumpers and I'm debating the wrap around for the rear bumper. It's $150 to add the wrap. My intial thought was it isn't worth because how likely are you to hit the rear quarter panel behind the tire? But the more I think about it the more it seems likely you can hit it and I would regret not getting it.

Keep in mind I have a 1st gen so I don't have a fat ass like all you 2nd gens :p

    This is the bumper: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/elite-off-road/142015-96-04-elite-off-road-rear-plate-bumper.html

    Who you calling fat ass!?

I would go with the wrap around provided it actually is supported back to the frame right behind the wheel well or there about. Not sure how they do theirs. I would imagine you have the cut the lower half of the panel?

Id way rather hit the bumper than the rear quarter panels. My plan is ATO cut bedside wraparound bumper

Doesn't require any cutting, the 1st gens are already pretty high up and it just hugs the body line.

Definitely getting the high lift points, one of the main reasons for getting the bumper.

Here's a better pic showing the support. From the same guy.

hey guys with dt y pipe...
im almost done with the install.. just bolting the y pipe to the exhaust pipe.. but idk if I'm supposed to have anything inbetween the two pipes. It didnt come with a gasket but said something about a donut gasket??

I tried tightening the 2 bolts to pull the flanges together, but it started bending the stock side before tightening it all the way to the dt side

Shore toyota fixed my front axle seals, but said it was a one time thing because my lift kit could have caused it.... But that wasn't a battle I had to fight today. I am sure this new one will last entire my powertrain runs out.

And the rattling I had going on for 5k miles was my exhaust heat shield... the only thing I didn't fix because everytime I crawled under there it was hot from having just driven. :p

    No charge. :D

Yea, if it starts leaking again, then I will go in ready for a fight. Like I mentioned earlier, I am thinking of replacing the diff breathers with little lawn mower engine filters... just so they breath better... I think mud caked mine and that is why the diff blew the seals.

Oh, I know it has nothing to do with my lift, they are retards.

But this happened during that heat wave I think (that is when I first noticed it) and I think my breathers were caked with mud... so I think the air couldn't escape and blew all the seals.. all 3 went at once.
