    I got myself a UltraGauge, I used my gps to help calibrate the speed.

    Looks awesome!

    Since the day I got it installed, it sounds great, it performs wonderful. IMO, the best exhaust to run on our trucks.

    I know I am going to test your memory, but do you know what year/model those 4.10s came from? I am looking to regear before I get some 265/75/16 Duratracs. I heard that 4.10 & 245/75/16 is stock for the pre-runner... but how is the power with your 33s?

    You can use any 4.10 gears from 96+ non elocker Tacoma. 4.10s came on 4cylinder prerunners and 4x4's stock.

    DAMN 4.10 for $35 shipped... WHAT A STEAL!

    4.10 with 31's would put the 5lug in stock gearing. With 33's I would go 4.56 or 4.88...

    It came of a T100. Which has the same rear diff setup as our 5 lug trucks.

    To add to this. You can shop around for the 96+ Tacomas and T100s.

    Shop around TTORA, a lot of them guys do extreme wheelin, so they will regear their trucks. When I bought the ring/pinion, the guy had them listed for two months. In his last post, he was asking for $50. I PM'ed him my price and he took it.

    Hey bro, amazing truck. You've inspired me to get tube bumpers and some 33's haha. I have a couple questions though. First, how much heavier is your tube bumper than the stock one, and did you have to beef up your front suspension to take the extra weight? Also, do you have wheel spacers on and do the tires rub on full lock?

    There is some more weight up front than the stock bumper. I don't know how much the tube bumper weights. Running the 33s is awesome.

    As for the front suspension, I am running 2.75" spacers from the Readylight SST kit. I am not running wheel spacers, with the 'proper' wheel specs, there is no need to run them. But the best way to check for rubbing is to test fit your wheel/tire combo.

    You can check out this thread for more info about wheel/tire setups from other 5 lugs. There thread has pictures that can be helpful.

    Always testfit before you buy. your offset and backspacing come down to mm of clearance on 5 lugs lol.

    Also, another MOD you will need to do is the black box mod. This will allow clearance for a bigger tire.

    cool, thanks guys. yah i'm planning on doing the black box mod and i found some procomps with the same dimensions as your AR's. I just need to find someone who can make a bumper half as sick as yours haha :cool: The thing is I'm thinking about getting everything at the same time, so I'll just wait a few years, cuz i figured you cant get the lift without the wheels and tires, and you can't get the 33s without a tube bumper soon after so, i think i'll just do a mod-weekend in the far future and do everything at once. crazy? yes. worth it? hopefully haha
