Hey guys - new to TW, and trying to figure out what will work on my new Tacoma. I have a 2011 Access Cab TRD-OR, completely stock. I'm thinking about getting Bilstein 5100s all around, set to 2.5 in the front with a rear AAL. If I put on a set of 265/75/16R Duratracs with the stock OR wheels, will I have any problems with rubbing? Also thinking about gettnig small wheel spacers for a more aggressive look - what size would you recmomend? Thanks for the input.

Nice, thanks for the quick reply. What about 285/75?

You'll need wheel spacers and you'll have to trim. Possibly a body mount chop too.

Just put 285/70/17 DuraTracs on my truck with a 3'' ProComp lift. No mount chop required. I did however have to take off the front mud flaps.

265's should be fine with no chopping, from what I understand, if you add spacers to them you will rub, but I cant confirm that from experience. 285 should fit with minor trimming, again adding a spacer could make that worse...

You have to add a spacer to the stock wheels to run 285's

OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
Not really, you have to run wheel spacers if you are running OEM wheels. The back spacing isn't enough on them. Now if you plan on running other wheels, 4.5 BS is the way to go. I'm basing this off of running 285s. I run 285s with a 4.5 BS wheel. My inner fender wells touch my tires sometimes but I was able to reduce the rubbing so much that the only time I notice any rubbing is at full turn. Also you need spacers to clear the UCA (when running OEM wheels)

Now on the other hand, when running 265s you don't need (spacers) you might rub against the front mud flaps... That can easily be fixed with them being removed. Personally I think the truck looks better with them off, and no real noticeable damage has been done to the paint.

I think you meant to say that the backspacing is too much with the OEM wheel. ;)

2in OME suspension lift ARB bull bar 8000lb WARN 32`duratracs on 17 procomp 7033`s
I have 265 70 R17 duratracs on procomp 7033's. I have a 2" ome lift and i still had to remove my front mud flaps. I'm not sure what the bs is. The tires do look killer though. We tried putting 33's on but there would have been some serious chopping going on.

Those tires look real nice on a stock Taco. Did they change your mileage any?
