So what is the deal with CCW in Oregon? Also valid in Utah, but not in WA?

Yeah I guess if it's in the bed of my truck I'm in the clear. According to the guy that answers the phone for OR's CC office. I can't get a permit here unless I'm a Oregon resident. My WA CC permit is worthless here... BUT how is it not concealed when it's inside a locked tool box?

I believed its considered "not concealed" because it is outside of your reach

It sure would suck when the bear is running at ya and instead of hiding inside your truck you got to fiddle with your keys and pull the rifle out of your tool box.

How close you been coming to Corvallis? I like the steps and for that price it is just my kind of deal. I won't be back into the Portland area until the 4th ish if you care to wait. Or I could beg my parents to pick em up from you if needed. Any way I wanna pick those up haha:cool:

Extremely illegal if you get the wrong officer. Same with any firearm. Has to be in plain view or no where near easy to get to. If its disassembled and in the cab you're usually good to go, however. Only bad guys keep functioning firearms on hand you know. Besides, they always give victims a chance to assemble/get their firearm out of a toolbox in the bed. When I'm at home rifles sit on the passenger seat, but when I go into town and forget to put it in the house its in the back window. Gets some interesting looks going through Portland. haha

I'm probably going to do my class through Tri-County Gun Club. Use to shoot there a lot.

Well I guess if you like hanging out with a bunch of BRO's for 4 years and worship things like TAPOUT and AFFLICTION you'll do just fine! HA

 I know what you mean about the Tapout and Affliction crap especially with the new boots that just get in  I am proud to say I own nothing of those two brand. Before I joined I wore a lot of Grenade(because of snowboarding) and Metal Mulisha clothes but not no more thanks to the Marine Corps.

Exactly! Even though I'm not buying I would like to see. I think he's asking for a little to much with that price and the flaws that he listed.

    What would that be? 4wheeling?

    EDIT

    Saw this awesome deal also!!

I did 8+ years and never saw a ship. I was a ground pounder! Although after spending some time at camp leatherneck, i would rather be on a DDG for 7 months enjoying life killing pirates and shit then live in some dusty ass tent/motor home. But everyone has their preference.

Yeah $200,000 bail is no joke man! I saw the pictures of the wreck on TV earlier this week.

I doubt he'll be put away for too long. Its his second DUI though so its mandatory that whatever sentence he gets for this crime, the state will add two more years. Vehicular homicide doesn't have a mandatory sentence in WA other then the two years for multiple DUI's. But if he doesn't get 20 years then they'll stick him with a $50,000 fine.
