    Had to do more trimming on the mud flaps, but they are still on the truck for now. I will post up when the 255's eat them, and how much abuse it took to do it.

    So that hump on the interior side is the main problem when turning ?

    Yes, but I had to section out the inner mounting tab to get rid of the rubbing when I was cornering over bumps that were about 15 Cm and larger

    oz the pic dibblit posted is how i cut mine. i left a little there though so it went up and covered the cab mount. probably an inch or a little more. had it out saturday in some pretty varied terrain, suspension flexed, workin it over and no rub. the BFG KM2s worked flawlessly

    Can someone who has the 255/85/16s please clarify if they will fit on my 2nd gen without any extra work. I have plans to get the OME suspension with new leaf springs, but need to know if I can get the tires first. I saw the write up from Expeditions West about trimming for maximum offroad use...I just want to know if I can get by (and get home from the store) for a while without having to do much trimming.

    If you are running a stock front bumper. Yes you will have to trim the bumper and inner moulding at the front. Also trim the mudflap, or remove all together.

    I never touched the front bumper or inner fender liner on mine. And I've use all the suspension a few times and it doesn't rub. That's running km2s.

    It would probably be different for a stock wheel. I have a 4.88 backspace n 10mm offset on my wheels. I think stock wheels are 4.5 backspace.
