I installed my new OEM fog lights from eBay today. The wiring harness that came with the set was a little confusing with a few extra plugs attached so it took me a lot longer than anticipated to connect everything. I went to the extra trouble to cut, solder, and heat-shrink all of the wires to length for an extra clean install. I have them wired so they come on with the parking lights and stay on regardless of high or low beam headlights.

Hit the trails. Still amazed what a stock Tacoma can do. I've owned 3 cars in the last 5 years. & This one continues to impress me.

Adjusted rear brakes and put on some new sway bar bushings with zerks. Made a pretty big difference in the steering. The old ones were so worn out they were rubbing the paint off the sway bar.

I'll see if I can get some pics tomorrow.

I bought the prothane 30mm greaseable bushings from here: http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/Universal-Sway-Bar-Bushings.asp

You'll have to measure your sway bar diameter or look on your oem bushings, mine had the diameter listed on them. I'd also check the mounting hole spacing as well. I've got a 5-lug and I used part no 1991186, not sure if it'd be the same for the 6 lug trucks.

Plasti derped the valance today. I dont think I like it, to many colors and chrome goin on. I think I need to get a color matched 11 grill, or get ahold of Homer and get a satoshi made. The grey and chome dont look good with the black and red.
Also put on my AAL.....finally after 7 months of moving it around the garage. Going in tomorrow for my 885"s up front. Picked up some Moto metal 951's off craigslist. Not my 1st choice, but couldnt pass up the deal. More pics in a couple of days. (need to order some lug nuts)

I got 3" from the 2" Toytech AAL, more than I wanted.

I'm not sure why but I really like your truck. It goes well with the plastic better than the light colors and red.

How come you already have rust on the undercarriage?

Thank you for your kind words.
I do not have any rust. It's preventative. I've been doing this with my wife's Wrangler since 2006 and the underneath still looks great. I don't lay it on. It's only a light coat. I uses 1 1/2 cans. i really wanted to hit the diffs. Up here in a few years they get really scaly and actually some rust through down the road. I power wash the vehicle in the fall and then spray. it's not permanent and it does come off. It helps IMO...

Gotcha. Too bad not everyone that lives up north takes care of their vehicles like you. I'm always turned off when I check a vehicles history and see a northern state.
