    Will i have problems putting on a throttle body spacer on a K&N 77 Series cold air intake? Some people have told me that K&N and TBS dont mix to well, I have found a place that sells and installs TBS and was wondering if i would see any problems before purchasing and installing one

    Jhodge had it with his K&N for a while. He did not like the whistling though, LOL...

    It can get anoying, especially if you have an auto.

    I just took mine off. It was ok, got the Volant intake now, and it did not fit at all. And I was not cutting up a 300 + $$$ intake for a $100 spacer.

    Heres my FS thread, and do not pay someone to install, it take like 10 min, maybe 20 if it's your first time to install.

    Helix was the one i saw too, by the way, how is that new volant working out for you, does it give ya more boost than the xdi you had?

    do what you want, but i used to be on a forum for another vehicle where several companies made different models of a tbs claiming all sorts of hp gains. Someone called them out on it. Then he made a non stop movie of him dynoing without the car. shutting the car off. installing the part. the dynoing again. lost 8 hp. He didnt cut any of the movie so he could prove he didnt tamper with anything. The guy admitted to being a fraud, and now he's out of business

    +1, I will not lie to anyone, It did nothing for me except maybe a little bit of punch at low end, which is the so called throttle respose gain. But, I read that might be true but may compromise top end. Anyhow I dont need it anymore. Happy with my Volant:D

    But hey, if someone wants to try it, and dont mind a whistling sound, dont spend any more, take mine off me; it's taking up too much room in the garage LOL:cool:

    Autoanything had a good price, not sure if still available. Use your TW coupon.

    Just remember, only thing I can back up is Temps. No proven gains. Unless you want to trust my X Guage: 345 HP @ 5000 RPM,105 MPH in 4th Gear This is supposed to be at the flywheel. Highly doubt it.

    Finally finding a spot to open my baby up all the way was priceless. Now back to driver improvement training:eek:
