The picture was yesterday afternoon at Pierson Park road. We did the Georgia Pass last Friday. The fall colors are awesome.

I'm really liking this new D5100. It shoots 1080p video. I haven't had a chance to play around with that, but I'm sure I will this winter!

Here are some shots from a trip to chicago this weekend.

for sure, ill see if i can do it at lunch and grab a few pictures. It will have to go on the back so that when i take the jack off the mounts it wont smash into the roof.

seeing all the pics and vids from moab is really giving me the itch to head back out there!!!!!!

so we've been throwing around a spring moab trip....thinking sometime in May

who else would be interested in a weekend wheeling trip to moab in May? probably a Thursday-Sunday with trails ran thursday night, friday, saturday and sunday morning...

giving everyone tons of time to make sure your trucks are ready for a trip...so no excuses!

if you need some motivation, check out john's vids and the pics being posted over at ttora from their recent trip and also the pics and vids from my and jace's trip out earlier this year...

To me, it was worth payin to have some that come blacked out.

I paid ~$120 for a pair... which is cheaper than OEM :p.

Re - Moab... I'd love to go, but I don't think my truck is up to snuff yet. I'm not ready to drop my truck on rocks like BigRedToy - you've got some brass balls my friend! I remember when we wheeled Slaughterhouse together, your truck is coming together very nicely. Really like the rear bumper - that's one thing I feel I need, that and the skids underneath. I now have sliders, and will soon have my front bumper all done... so only a few more things before I feel I can do a big trip like Moab and actually have some fun without being nervous about my rig...

So I'd love to, but probably won't have my rig done by then. Unless I somehow get a new job that pays double ;).

thing about moab is there are so many options to do while out there...

there are runs for stocker all the way up to bad ass rig trails....

as far as a traildamage scale is concerned, most i'd be hitting is 7-8...

but not everyday has to be a wheel your truck as hard as you can day...so many options out there

You can run Moab for days, with just skids and sliders.

The Trails I did were rated 5-9ish. I don't run 9 rated trails, in my daily driver, and think I am indestructible. There are many different factors that will ensure you make it out in one piece like: spotters, maintenance, weather, health, luck... etc.

depends on what trails you want to take...last time i went there i used my IFS and tcase skids and my sliders...mainly all on kane creek...a couple times i hit my tcase skid on fins and things but i think that's because the damn thing sticks down so far! (this will be addressed before going back!)
