I forget where I saw this, but rather than the heim joints to adjust the light bar they had a little hydraulic that you could adjust from in the cab. It would raise and lower it and stop it at any point. It looked like the same hydraulic that was used for the automatic rear window mod somewhere in this forum. You should do that next

LOL I just suggested that he should add some linear actuators next. it's just the cost of those things $$$$

Why did you guys use such big heims on a light bar? Those are WAY over kill lol those won't even have a have any twisting strain or rotating movement on them. Mine is almost exactly like this but it holds 5 lights. We used Light bar heims because any teflon ones would be a waste of money.

The Heims are from RuffStuffSpecialties and 1/2" Heims are the smallest they make and I got them for less then the little Light bar Heims so why not beef it up.

okay, I drove it once. But only to charge the battery. I let it drive in circles by itself for a half-hour.

is the bottom bar of your light rack even with the cab? if you didnt have really bright lights on your front bumper would you wish it was a little higher so you could see more stuff closer to you??
