no its drill in. the only none drill in roof rack is like a crazy 625 dollars for everything minus the cross bars!!!! (its from inno i think) the ones that use the straps on the inside of the truck suck don't use those. The drill in is your best option trust me i looked i will be able to set up my yamikia roof rack for under 250 with everything.

I don't know about $625 dollars but they are pricey. I got great deals at ors racks direct.

I have 2 cross bars on my camper shell and a single load bar going across my cab. You can do 2 bars across the cab that would hook into the doors but they may be a little close. Should work though...Call Thule direct and they can help you out to see if there is a set that will hook into where the rear side window is. They may make one of these but I'm not for sure. I would not want to drill into my cab but to each their own.

    Thule racks usually come in three parts;

    • Load Bar (the ones I have is 58" and fits well but you could go bigger). $72 for a pair or $36 for a single
    http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-lb58.html
    http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-lb58-single-square-load-bar.html

    • Foot Pack. 4802 Traverse Foot Half-Pack will work and comes with one set, ie, for one single load bar ($81). The 480 Traverse foot pack ($157) will also work and is the same as the half pack but comes with 2 sets, ie for two load bars. (I think Yakima calls these towers).
    http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-480-traverse-foot-pack.html

    • Clips or what they call the fit kit (this is the part that hooks around the doors). You will need the 1064 fit kit. $67
    http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-1064-fit-kit-clips-480r-480-traverse.html

I'll work on getting you a pic.

    ^^^^^^Now that's tight.

sir1123, if you can get the part numbers off ERIC this is probably what you're looking for. You might not need 3 bars but you can see how he has two around the door. But I'm not sure how the rear bar is attached.

This is a pic of my setup:

Here is how the Thule wraps around the door. I'm sure the Yakima is very similar.

Even though you don't have a camper shell this might help you for future reference. On the back I have what they call "artificial rain gutters." They are like $50 for a set of 4. Then I have the Thule gutter mounts. Other folks with camper shells have rails, or tracks, installed on the top. These work well too but the artificial gutters were already on the shell when I got it.

    Hope these help.

Its only two bars. the middle is just a clap to hold down the rear bar. thats how all xtra cab roof racks are set up since there is no door in the rear to clamp into.

And sorry guys I dont have the part numbers. Best bet is to call autoanything and tell them what you want. They will know what you need and hook you up on a good deal.

Wolf, why did you choose the landing pad "7"? Do you know if other landing pads will work or if there's a major difference between models?

because the landing pad 7 uses "hidden fasteners" so it can be mounted on taco roofs and other roofs where bolt access isn't easy or possible. Its what Yakima recommended too.

yea, but then the structual strength of it will be not so great. you could always go to the steel yard and get like 3/4 pipe that is like .063 wall and that would be plenty strong! thats what im gonna do when i get my rack
