I have 2011 stock toyota tacoma 4 cyl dbl cab prerunner. I want to lift it about 3" all around to possibly fit 285's on it. I was looking at the pro comp lift kit but ive read so much bad crap about it. Im willing to spend about 500-600$ what is a good quality lift for a 4cyl that wont mess my truck up?

    Read this:
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/11282-tacoma-lift-faq-guide-read.html

Then check out Wheelers Off Road, Toytec Lifts and Downsouth Motorsports. All are great vendors on this site.

Raswank is correct, look into Bilstein 5100 series shocks. Cheap, effective way to lift a Tacoma and still maintain ride quality. One step better would be to replace the coils also but you might run out of money in a hurry. If you push 3" of front lift, you might need new upper control arms to maintain alignment.

If you lift the front 3", then yes unless you want the bro lean look.
