Noobie, Recommendations on a 3" lift?

I have a 2005 double cab.. 2wd prerunner. It has 64k, would it be stupid to get a 3" lift done? I dont offroad much but i'll deffinetely pick up once I get this lift done. What tires and wheels do you guys recommend? I love the look of lifts on taco's, my prefrence is the higher the sexier what does everyone recommend? sorry if there are threads on this already, just am new.

Welcome to the most expensive hobby you'll have, lol! Just keep reading threads and you'll figure out what you need! You'll learn a lot in the process too!

And its never to late to lift, lol!

 

It's never to late of early to lift.
Lots of choices out there.
Avoid spacers up front & blocks in the rear.
A good lift is going to cost, but it will be worth it.

 

I say a 6" drop lift bracket and some spacer lift!

but OP search " 3 inch lift " or " bilstein 5100 " in the search function on this site. its the most common lift.
