went out on a bs mission for some 1" blocks ... ended up getting a hair cut instead.

 

I have a sqeake or rattle too it bugs the heck out of me.

 

^^ I hear ya! Couldn't stand my rattle anymore so I had to do something about it. It all started when I had the blower motor replaced so my friend and I removed it and tore it apart. Didn't find nothing so we went for a drive without it in. Sure enough, the rattle was still there. So I pulled over and on a whim checked the passenger wheel well. Well wouldn't you know it, one of the clips from rubber flap had worked itself loose and was bouncing off the frame. I couldn't believe it, the rattle sounded like it was in the cab the whole time. Something so small was such a big pain. Glad it's fixed though.

Mine does it when the body flexes like when I turn right into a driveway that has a slop on it or when brake harder than normal. i will have to look at what you found. It nreally sounds like its coming from the blower motor. I also get a sound from my blower when I have it on low it sounds like there is something in the fan it sounds like when I was a kid and put a playing card in the spokes of my bike. It only does it on low sometimes on setting #1.

I don't know how to help you find your first rattle but the second one is easy. You'll need to have your blower motor replaced. You got the infamous chirp tha most of us have. I'm on my second blower motor now and I've heard of some ppl being on their 3rd. Definitely get that replaced at the dealer, mine did the exact same thing as yours.

 

I will be getting my 2nd service soon I was going to talk to them about it. So I guess I'm not the only one with the noise.

 

Thanks! First I gave the entire truck a good wash, then clayed it, re-rinsed and the started the polishing. I was using Meguiar's Ultimate Polish with a foam pad and made sure to use light pressure until the spots came off. Here are some pictures of the hood from today:

Good luck man! I'm going to give this product a try for the swirls. I don't really want to buy a polisher and go through that process right now. I've watched YouTube videos of this stuff being used and it looks like it works really well.
