Hrm. I'm kinda in the middle on this. My VSC has definitely become more sensitive since the lift - there's one section going to work that kicks it on every single time, and it never used to before. However, I wouldn't say that it's dangerously sensitive - it hasn't kicked me into traffic or made me feel additionally unsafe.

It was always Buzz Killington, but I've had it kick in a few times and I was pleasantly surprised - I didn't realize I was sliding, and the VSC kicked the rear back in line without any intervention from me.

I guess I should attempt to recalibrate it to see if it becomes less sensitive... Honestly it's not a life-and-death type of thing for me as it is for some of the others that posted in that thread...

Sounds like a lot of fun was had this weekend! I wish I could've gone to Sean's for the dinner and drinks but the wife and I were at Copper Mtn and by the time we got home, we were too pooped to party. ;) Sunday was spent at Winterpark where I had a blast and came away with only a little tweaked "something" in my ankle after landing a little jump wrong and wiping out on the snowboard. s10Nick, you were right! I'm absolutely loving my new Burton Sherlock! Fun as hell, I'm just needing to work a bit more on transitioning my turns a lil faster.

    Now for my rant.

Friday I went downtown to hang out with one of my buddies and stopped at the Cheeky Monk for a beer while we waited on his friend to show up. I parked in the lot behind the restaraunt and 20 mins later when we came out, my truck was gone. Turned out that only half of the lot is for the Cheeky Monk and the other half is private. After looking around we see the sign at the "exit" of the lot saying that it's private and the tow company's number. When I called the number I about went crazy when they told me it was $280 cash money to get my truck back! Now if I'd parked illegally and known it, I wouldn't be so pissed cause there would be nobody to blame but myself. In this case, I feel like I was set-up. Seriously, the only indication that half the lot is private is at the exit of the lot??? Of course, I had no choice but to pay the money not including the $20 cab ride to BFE to pick up the truck. I'm still in revenge mode. One way or another I'm gonna extract $280 from that tow company's ass. :spy:

On a lighter note, while I was out Friday night, somebody in a white tacoma with a nice plate bumper waved at me on Colfax. Wonder if it was anybody here?

U would need to contact the property owner/management, not the tow co as they were hired by company "x" to enforce.

True, but I'm sure the tow company knew it was b/s and still raped me. You're right though, the original culprit is the property owner/management. I just hate gettin screwed over like that.

just keep in mind that with the increased weight of the armor you will soon need suspension to compensate...

good thing about the older trucks tho is they have tube bumpers easily available which help with the weight greatly!
