Glad you guys are alright. Same thing happened to me in 2004. I was driving across country for school and hit some ice in a shit hole town, better known as Lincoln, Nebraska. Had all my stuff in the back. Canopy ripped off and things were everywhere.

ive noticed my car has been taking a bit longer to start up now when its real cold out. i cant remember how it was last winter...does this mean my spark plugs are starting to go bad?

my worst fear is my car not starting when im up at the mountain

None yet, starting over!! OME lift w/ Dakars & 885's Remote Start w/ window control
    Plugs in the Tacoma??

I did mine back in August, took about 30 mins to do, and I'm not even that mechanically inclined.

IMO, easiest way to see if they need changed is to just simply pull one out

lol ya same. i think it is fairly easy though, i kinda remember seeing a thread on t4r.org about it, but i am not doing any car work outside in the cold.

i dont know about the tacomas(i know mine didnt) but my 4runner has an "auto-start". like you dont have to hold the key down to get the engine to turn over. you only need to turn it once and it will like auto crank the engine. does this have anything to do with the slower start up?
