Looking for "P" rated 33" tires

Ok, here's the deal. I have P265/70R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers and want to go larger in a few months. I don't want an "LT" rated tire because I don't take the truck off-road and the LT tires are heavier hurting gas milage and stiffer so the ride isn't as smooth. I know there are some P285/70R17 tires out there like the Nittos but was hoping for a more aggressive tread. Seems most aggressive tread tires in 33" size are LT rated and weigh in over 50 lbs. Some as much as 68 lbs. Current tires are only 42 lbs and if I stick to P rated 33's, I can keep it under 48lbs.

So does anyone know of a P285/70R17 or P285/65R18 tire that has a little more aggressive look than Nitto Terra Grappler or Bridgestone Revo 2's? Replacing stock wheels with either 17x9 or 18x9 XD Addicts so could be for 17" or 18" wheel but I think I might have better luck with 17's from my research so far. 18's have more limited size options and tend to be more LT in the size I want. i.e. the Nitto Terra Grapplers don't even come in P285/65R18.

P285/70R17 48 lbs 33" tire
LT285/65R18 52 lbs 33" tire load range E (too stiff)
P285/60R18 47 lbs but only 32"
P275/65R18 45 lbs and a true 32" tire

 

so ur worried about gas mileage and ride quality... and u want to go up a size in tires with a more aggressive tread pattern, and not lose gas mileage?????

 

Have you considered a 255/75/17 Hankook ATm ? It's a P rated , 32 1/4" tire

 

You could also get a Cooper ST AT tire in 255/85/16 , which is a 33 1/4" tire

 

The new rugged terrains look aggressive and are a 32.6 height and only weigh 40.8 lbs.

Yes, I know. I've had LT tires and did not like the ride. I know I will lose gas milage, just trying to minimize the effect of larger tires by keeping the weight down. I will probably go with NTG's like I have now just in larger size but was entertaining the idea of a more aggressive tread pattern too.

Also, don't like the pizza cutter look. Looking for wider tire as well as taller.
