Must have sold the stories also. We'll have to wait til he bends the frame, washes the sand out and comes back to TW.

How would an aluminum bumper hold up to a impact from a deer? or small collision?

PM the guys from Relentless Fab. This question came up in another thread and basically the answer was aluminum isn't quite as strong as steel but will take a pretty good hit. It's not a battering ram like the ARB but Relentless wouldn't advertise it as an off road bumper if it wouldn't hold up to a decent amount of abuse.

True true. I want something that will protect pretty much the entire front if I hit a deer. I dont want to hit a deer and only protect the bumper and end up fubbering up my grille, lights, hood, and or fender(s)

Now that I think about it, the Warn Brush Guard isn't bad either.

This is a warn brush guard, it will not save your front in the event of a deer collision. Most of these brush guards are damage multipliers. The Ranch Hand is pretty stout but you'll still have a lot of damage unless you hit the deer just right.

x2 the arb imo does not look right with no lift on the truck but, that is subjective.

whats not subjective is the fact that it weighs in at a massive 150 pounds lol that weight will have you factory springs begging for mercy in like 100 miles. a panic stop would most likely induce major nose dive and contribute to a possible loss of control and negate some of the safety designed into the arb in the first place.

arb designed that bumper to be used in conjunction with their 885/886 ome springs and suspension to combat the extra weight hanging almost 1 foot past where the factory bumper was. look at a profile pic of a stock tacoma then look at a profile pic of a truck equipped with an arb bull bar it protrudes far past the factory bumper.

this only exacerbates the problem of beating up your springs because when the truck hits bumps the weight of the bumper will be multiplied by it hanging further from the axle.

I thought the warm was made from steel?

If I got 885 coils how much would it sag?
