Looking for confirmation on 2009 4x4 Front Wheel Bearing Replacement

Read the sticky, did the search, but I want to clarify with people who have done this repair themselves before I undertake this. Most of the stuff I read mentions a bearing needing to be pressed in, but can't you make the job a lot easier by just buying an assembly like this:

And then I would need a new O ring and Front Axle Hub Oil Seal, correct? Is that all I need to do this replacement? I think this is the way to get around needing special tools, etc. Thanks in advance.

Think I can answer my own question. After looking again at the FSM, that link I posted is the actual bearing only, and not any kind of assembly. But I think all I need to do is get the old one pressed out and this pressed in (probably $25 somewhere) and then I can reinstall it myself. Now I just need to source the correct gaskets and seals.

 

How many miles does your 2009 have? What kind of symptoms/noise did you have to warrant the replacement? I have a 2006, 68000, and I just started getting a sound/ vibration in the front. It sounds like tire noise so I can't tell if it is the bearings or not. Thanks.

I just did both wheel bearings on my 08 TRD sport....try rockauto.com I got both wheel assembles for around 175$ and then u would need to get the hub pressed out of old one and pressed into new one...I don't know the exact part numbers from Toyota but u need the oil seal that goes between the bearing assemble and the hub...I believe the part number is 90312-96001 seal type V oil...dont quote me but almost possitive.....hope this helps

Here is the order invoice for the seals needed for replacing both front wheel bearings, hope this helps. These are toyota part numbers.
