I wish there was a "3rd" door for the xtra cab guys.................. Other than that.. seatbelts, who needs em? :D When I DD it, I'd complain about the seats... uncomfortable. At least Toyota did something right about them in my new tacoma.

like on the older tundras, opens from the inside and swings opposite of the front.
i agree with you on a 3rd door. of they would have made the cab of the xtra cab a little longer but not to the point of the double cab, about halfway in between the two, then that would rock!

As a former owner of a 2.7 regular cab prerunner, it had to be the power when passing on the highway. I noticed it would be a second or two delay from the time I floored it to when the engine starts reving and begin to pickup speed.

Just wish we had a timing chain instead of a belt, otherwise I like the 3.4 a lot.

    Never understood that either.

Granted I have a '98 so I don't know if auto-up was even a thought back then but it's sometimes a serious PITA to roll the window back up in a 5-speed manual

That post is a guy who used rubber plumbers gasket. Far tougher than the foam (or whatever it is that comes stock) and much stronger

I love my auto down window. Having only auto down makes sense when you know how the systems work. You don't need any safety features when adding auto down, just program it to hold the button down for you till it's all the way down. Auto up however could pinch a finger/arm etc. It needs to be able to tell how much resistance it has to movement. It makes for a more complex and expensive system that is more likely to fail.
