thats not a flywheel just the clutch, i already talked to clutch masters on the phone and they dont mass produce flywheels for 2.7L so they would have to custom make it...

trying to see if any other companies make a light weight flywheel for a 2007 tacoma 2.7L

THEY DONT MAKE A FLYWHEEL FOR IT UNLESS I HAVE THEM CUSTOM MAKE IT FOR $550 FOR THE 2.7L.

I talked to them on the phone. they type that little info of, lf Combined with our aluminum flywheel, this an excellent performance upgrade., into their description because they reuse it for most of their vehicles with the stage 3 clutch kit to let you know that you can MAYBE get an aftermarket flywheel for it

I run a Clutchmasters clutch on my DD/autocross toy and like it quite a bit. The pressure plate is on the heavy side, however, engagement is very firm and predictable, which makes it great for consistent launching. I would expect their Tacoma application to be a solid choice.

That's swell, but you have a V6. This is for a 4 cylinder.

4 cylender anythings lose revs very quickly, i want to get a lighter flywheel, but im afraid it'll stall out mid shift because it cant hold an idle. im on the streets, not on the track where you are consistently at the top of the power band all the time.

biggest mistake I ever made was putting a lightweight flywheel in my 350Z. IMO lightweight flywheels are great for high speed racing applications although for DD's they make alot of noise and are not the smoothest especially neutral to 1st gear. I would say that they would be a detriment to off roading and rock crawling where you would want the mass and enertia from a weighted flywheel.

    None,
I have a 2017 4-cyl 4x4 with a noisy release bearing, clutch issue and yesterday there was smoke coming from the clutch under a light load backing up an incline at the farm, This thumping noise is only happens when the truck is in neutral and the clutch is not depressed, as soon as i push the clutch pedal in the noise goes away.

    Anyone else have this problemÉ
