Bought My First! Preferred Plugs?

    Hello all, I just bought my first Toyota taco. I drove a 160 miles from my home in Virginia to buy a '99 Tacoma 2WD 4cyl 5speed extended cab with only 63,000 miles on it! Love it so far and it is running great...

    What I want to know is what most people prefer to use or have found works best in these trucks out of all the types of spark plugs there are? Or should I just use what the manual says?

    Mine has the the 2RZ-FE engine if that makes a difference.

    I'm running E3 plugs, seems to idle a bit smoother, but that may just be me thinking too hard about it.

    Plain ones from the dealership if you don't mind changing them every 30K miles or so...Denso Iridiums (or NGK Iridiums presumably, haven't tried them) if you prefer to go longer between changes.

    I use Denso Iridiums because I pile on over 30K miles per year and don't want to change plugs that frequently.

    Kinda like.. Should i run higher quality gas? Its not always gonna make your truck better. I would stick with OEM. I run it.

    But then agion. Everyone has there own liking and im not a Mechanic. Im Desiel :D

    umm just got plugs today from dealer they say denso right on them
    denso or ngk will be just fine cause all i ever ran in toyotas was ngk cause thats what i was told will run best

    im not a mechanic either im an electrician but i dident think desiels had spark plugs i thought they had glow plugs hmm

    anyways dealer is going to sell denso but ngk will run fine
