What's the ave MPG on 4cyc stick????

So just a few questions.....I have a 2010 Pre Runner 4cyc stick reg cab stock tires....

#1 How many gallons is my gas tank?


#2 How many mile per tank do you guys get?


#3 How many mile per gallon on average?

ive got a manual 2.7L, 4cyl, 01' tacoma xtra cab that
1) has roughly a 15 gallon tank
2)~300 miles per tank
3) roughly 20 mpg
however. I do about 95% of my driving as "urban" aka city driving and I will be the first to admit I love accelerating and drive very aggressively. If you pretend theres an egg under the petal and shift relatively low you can get better mpg's

 

IMO, a if MPG is very important, a truck shouldn't be your go to vehicle.

Case in point, my son drives a Honda Fit for his job as he gets fuel allowance from his job. His weekend car is a 400hp supercharged NSX that guzzles the go juice.

When I was a worker (now retired) my Tacoma was my daily driver and at around 17 MPG, I was happy. My weekend car was a 7 MPG Mustang.

I get about 20 average, thats about 25% highway 25% offroad and 50% city. when I skip the trails and do a bit more high way I get closed to 30

i average about 22 in the summer and about 17-18 in the cold ass winter

 

try to keep it below 2500 and you should be doin alright

 

I average a solid 24-25 mpg i shift kind at lower rpms, and drive at about 70 on the highways. Its a tacoma.. i didnt buy it to go fast!

 

Your gas tank holds 21 gallons. Keep in mind that the low fuel light comes on when you have 4 galllons left more or less.

 

I've got an 08 Prerunner 2.7 5 spd and I get 22-23 consistently. I'm running 33" All terrains and 17" FJ rims also.

 

96 reg cab 2.7 manual. 15 gallon tank. I get around 20 mpg

 

Wow thats a big tank for a little truck,,,, I was thinking 15 to 17 gallons thanks.

Nice Im looking at throwing 31's to 33's on mine to... glad to see your still over 20 with big tires.

 

I bought my 07 Taco(2.7L-5speed, reg cab) this last summer. I've been getting about 19-23 mpg, thats 60% city and 40 highway. Ive noticed that since its been getting colder out, it takes a while for my truck to warm up, and I've been getting a little less economy. All in all I drive pretty easy on the gas.

 

18-28 mpg. If I'm in a hurry 18 - if I drive with an egg shell between my foot and the gas petal - up to 28.

 

100mpg

 

21-22 mpg consistantly, with mostly in town driving. A/C runs most of the time. I have only seen 23mpg maybe twice. When I go on long trips with a lot of highway driving, I usually run 70-75 and still avg about the same 21-22. I have a hard time believing anything above 23mpg.
