    well come on, you're gonna have to regear that axle you pick up. Also have to buy a steering box, leaf springs, tubing to fab up the steering, drive shaft, etc.

    I can see keeping it under 4k if you have buddies and are able to get this stuff for free.

    Im just going off personal experience.. maybe i just got good deals but i looked around for awhile. theres really not much to it.. and yes, i did all the work myself so that saves a lot.

    i have a well built sas. bombproof. and did it all for under 2k

    I hated my evo, I traded it back in for the galaxy S epic, but the new one didnt have a keyboard and its f'n HUGE. So I'll try this thing out until my wifes upgrade in a few months, hopefully they will have something new by then.
